I'M NEW

Grace Gospel Church is an historical church with a modern feel. We have been ministering in the Franklin neighborhood of Missoula for almost 100 years, yet the Lord is doing a new work in us since he brought two churches together for a restart in 2021. 

You may be new to the whole "faith" thing, or you may just be new to the area. Either way, we know that finding a new church home is challenging, so we want to help.  

• What are the basics? We are a multi-generational baptist congregation in the heart of Missoula that is led by a pastor team elected by the congregation. 

• What is a service like? Services typicaly run for 1hr and 15min. We don't turn the lights down or fire up the fog machine because we do not want to entertain, but to gather as a congregation. Jesus Christ is our foundation, and we believe God's Word (the Bible) is the way to know who he is. So we plan all our singing, reading, preaching and praying around the Bible. We sing a mix of traditional hymns as well as some modern music. We are confessionally Baptist, but we welcome people from all backgrounds to attend. 

• What about my kids? Children are an important part of any church. Because of that, we welcome you to keep your children in the service with you (Don't worry about the noises, most of our older folks love to hear the rustling of children). We provide a kids activity sheet for them to engage. Of course, we know that can be challenging at times, so we also provide childcare during the Worship Service from birth to 5 years old. We also provide age-divided classes for nursery, young children, and Jr High Youth during our Sunday School Hour (9:45-10:30am). 

• Where do I park? We have guest parking on Washburn Street right by the front doors, or in the parking lot behind the church.

• What do people wear? Our congregation is diverse. Folks wear everything from dress shoes and suits to jeans and boots. We're not too judgy.
